Exercise of Share Options

Alliance Pharma plc (AIM: APH), the speciality pharmaceutical company, announces that following the exercise of employee
share options on 22 July 2010, application has been made by Alliance for a further 13,750 ordinary shares of 1 pence
each
in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to trading on AIM.

It is expected that these new Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary
Shares, will be admitted to trading on 28 July 2010.

Following the exercise of the options, Alliance will have 232,533,372 Ordinary Shares in issue.
